The group was founded in Brusy on Kashubia (northern Poland) in 2007. Before forming their own band, musicians of Bubliczki played in the Kashubian Folk Ensemble "Krebane", where they has obtained musical experiences. The initiator and leader of Bubliczki was accordion player and vocalist Mateusz Czarnowski. The idea of the group was a new approach of playing Polish and Kashubian folk music. The music of Bubliczki is a fusion of Jewish, Balkan and Gypsy sounds with Polish and especially Kashubian musical traditions.
